Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting on healthcare issues

The discussion will examine current issues in healthcare development and analyse implementation of the President’s May 2012 executive orders. Particular focus will be on introducing ways of reducing ineffective healthcare costs, making medical institutions more effective, bringing down illness and mortality rates in Russia, and raising wages in the healthcare sector based on performance in providing medical services.
