The meeting will examine measures to develop the talent pool for national sports teams through to 2024. Sports Minister Pavel Kolobkov will present the main report.
The participants will also discuss the National Action Plan to Combat Doping in Russian Sport. Honorary President of the Russian Olympic Committee and Head of the Independent Public Anti-Doping Commission Vitaly Smirnov will present the measures planned in this area.
During the working trip, Mr Putin will also visit the Champion training centre, the Krasnodar Football Club’s youth academy, and the club’s home stadium, where he will meet with members of Russia’s leading volunteer groups.
While in Krasnodar, the President will also meet with FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
