The President of Russia will tour the exhibition The Power of Spirit and Loyalty to Tradition, which tells about the Old Believers’ contribution to preserving Russia’s cultural heritage.
Pride of place at the exhibition is held by unique exhibits dated between the 16th and 20th centuries provided by the Metropolia of the Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church and the Intercession Cathedral.
The development of the Old Believers’ centre at Rogozhskaya Zastava began in 1771. At present, the centre consists of 50 buildings, which are undergoing large-scale renovation.
