On June 1, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to Russia. During the talks with the President of Russia, they plan to discuss a wide range of issues related to strengthening the privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India, primarily the expansion of trade and economic cooperation.
They will exchange views on current international and regional issues, including the fight against terrorism. A joint meeting with leading representatives of Russian and Indian business circles is also planned.
On the same day, Vladimir Putin will hold a traditional meeting with the heads of international news agencies as well as talks with members of the International Expert Council of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and representatives of the international investment community.
On June 2, the President of Russia is scheduled to attend the SPIEF plenary meeting, also attended by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Kern and Moldovan President Igor Dodon.
Vladimir Putin will take part in the Russia-US Business Dialogue panel discussion and hold talks with Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Kern and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
He will meet with the leaders of major foreign companies for a discussion of the investment climate and Russia’s business potential.
On June 3, the President of Russia will attend the naming ceremony for the Arctic tanker Christophe de Margerie, a vessel of the unique Arc7 ice class, designed for the Yamal LNG project.
