The festive events will begin with laying flowers at the Monument to Minin and Pozharsky.
After that, the President will visit the Russia Focused on the Future exhibition at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall. On display in its 15 rooms are future-oriented projects developed by respective ministries and departments and major Russian companies.
During a ceremony at the Grand Kremlin Palace, Vladimir Putin will award the Presidential Prize for contributions to strengthening the Russian nation’s unity. The Prize was established by Presidential Executive Order No. 200 of April 26, 2016, and is awarded for activities aimed at rallying the multiethnic people of Russia and harmonising interethnic relations.
The head of state will also award the Order of Friendship to foreign citizens for outstanding services to strengthening peace, friendship, and understanding between peoples, for preserving and popularising the Russian language and culture abroad.
