On January 24, the President will make a working trip to the Republic of Bashkortostan and visit the United Engine Corporation—the Ufa Engine Industrial Association, where he will chair a meeting on diversifying the production of high-tech civilian products by the defence industry enterprises.
During the visit, the President will conduct a working meeting with Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov.
On the same day, Vladimir Putin will arrive in the Republic of Tatarstan, where he will meet with representatives of Muslim religious organisations and the leadership of the Bulgarian Islamic Academy. The meeting agenda will focus on forming an integral system of religious education and the development of the domestic theological school, as well as the first results of the Academy’s work.
On January 25, the President will continue his work in Kazan. He will visit the Gorbunov Kazan Aviation Plant, where he will watch a demonstration flight of an upgraded Tu-160M and talk with the workers.
Later Vladimir Putin will take part in the national forum of student clubs Forward Together, which will be attended by over 5,000 students from 38 Russian regions. The main goal of the forum timed to Russian Students’ Day is to promote the student team spirit and universities’ collective activity throughout the country.
The President will also visit Kazan Federal University, where he will see the centres of innovative medical training and hold a videoconference with the country’s leading universities on the issues of academic mobility, graduate employment and other aspects of student life in Russia.
Vladimir Putin is to hold a separate working meeting with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
