On March 5, Vladimir Putin will take part in a meeting of the Federal Security Service Board, which will sum up the main results of the Federal Security Service agencies’ activities in 2017 and outline priority tasks for 2018.
On the same day, the President will attend the Congress of Transport Workers of Russia, the main reporting event of the transport sector, which takes place every five years. The President will address the plenary session of the congress, which has gathered over 700 transport industry workers, and will visit an exhibition that features priority infrastructure projects scheduled for implementation by 2022.
In addition, a videoconference will be held with the construction site of the second Baikal tunnel, a major facility of the programme aimed at modernising the Baikal-Amur Mainline and Trans-Siberian Railway.
