Forum participants will focus on the Council’s 25-year-long efforts to facilitate public dialogue and Russia’s civilizational development. As is traditionally the case, representatives of all branches of government, leaders of public and religious associations, scientists, educators, cultural workers and delegates of Russian communities from non-CIS countries as well as former Soviet republics are invited to take part in the Council’s work.
The international public organisationWorld Russian People's Council was established in May 1993. Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has been heading the Council since February 2009.
