The President is scheduled to visit Severnaya Verf (Northern Shipyard) shipyard to take part in a ceremony of laying the keel, docking and launching ships for the Russian Navy, and also to study the plans of the facility, one of the oldest shipyards in the sector.
Vladimir Putin will also visit the St Petersburg Suvorov Military School of the Defence Ministry, where he will hear about the educational process, and see how cadets live and pass their free time at the school.
Vladimir Putin will chair the eleventh meeting of the Russian Geographical Society Board of Trustees at RGO headquarters. Participants at the event will review RGO performance in 2018 and present projects for 2019. The meeting will include a ceremony to award medals and honorary certificates of the Russian Geographical Society.
On April 24, Vladimir Putin will chair a meeting with members of the Council of Legislators in Tavrichesky (Tauride) Palace, St Petersburg.
In addition to this, the President will take part in a video conference to launch the loading of LNG to the Coral Anthelia gas tanker at CryoGas-Vysotsk, a new LNG plant in the city of Vysotsk, Leningrad Region.
