On June 5, top-level talks will take place in Moscow. The two leaders will discuss the further deepening of the Russian-Chinese comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation, with special attention to the implementation of major economic and cultural projects. They will also share opinions on current international and regional issues.
A package of joint documents will be signed following the talks.
Later that night, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping will attend an event to mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and China.
On June 6–7, the President of China will attend the St Petersburg International Economic Forum as a guest of honour.
