On September 20, the Russian leader will pay a working visit to Orenburg Region, where the main phase of the Centre 2019 strategic command post exercise at the Donguz Test Ground will take place.
Units of the Russian Federation’s Armed Forces will repel a simulated enemy attack in cooperation with military contingents from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, India, China and Pakistan.
In all, the Centre 2019 strategic command post exercise involves about 128,000 officers and soldiers, over 20,000 pieces of weaponry and military equipment and about 600 aircraft.
At the testing ground, the Russian head of state will meet with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
