On September 9, 2023, Vladimir Putin will congratulate Moscow residents on City Day and together with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, will take part, via videoconference, in a ceremony to launch several new traffic arteries in the city.
The ceremony will launch traffic on Prospekt Bagrationa (the northern relief road of Kutuzovsky Prospekt), the southern section of the Moscow High-Speed Diameter from Shosse Entuziastov to the 32nd kilometre of the Moscow Automobile Ring Road, and Line D4 of Moscow Central Diameters.
On the same day, the President will chair a videoconference meeting on the socioeconomic development of the Smolensk Region. The agenda will include the development of the processing industry and local infrastructure, as well as the preservation of cultural heritage sites.
