On March 25, Cultural Worker’s Day, a ceremony for presenting the 2024 Presidential Prize for Young Culture Professionals and the 2024 Presidential Prize for Writing and Art for Children and Young People will be held at the Kremlin’s St Catherine Hall. Eight people have won the 2024 Presidential Prize.
The Presidential Prize for Young Culture Professionals has been awarded since 2011 to Russian citizens aged under 35 for outstanding works of literature and art, as well as for implementing creative and research projects in the fields of art and culture.
The Presidential Prize for Writing and Art for Children and Young People has been awarded since 2013 to recognise exceptional works of literature and art, as well as creative and research initiatives in the fields of art and culture aimed at fostering civic awareness, patriotism, ethical values, and cultural and aesthetic development of children and young people.
On the same day, the President will hold a meeting of the Council for Culture and Art via videoconference. A wide range of topics related to the work of the Council will be discussed, such as art education, literature, book publishing, and other current matters.
