The message reads, in part:
“Established by a decree of Peter the Great, the plant is inextricably linked with the history of arms in Russia. Outstanding national designers and engineers have worked here, including the legendary Sergei Mosin, the creator of the trilinear rifle. In the difficult years of the Great Patriotic War, the plant continuously supplied arms to the frontlines.
It is highly gratifying that the current generation of workers is preserving and developing the famous masters’ traditions, and the military, hunting and sporting firearms bearing the name of the Tula Arms Plant enjoy high demand on the domestic and foreign markets today.”
