The instructions issued to the Government are aimed at protecting the rights of people who are parties to co-funded construction contracts.
The Government is to introduce amendments to legislation so as to stipulate a mechanism for the federal oversight of the regional agencies that control the co-funded construction of residential housing and other real estate, as well as to strengthen administrative liability for the violation of legislation by the controlling agencies’ officials.
Other instructions concern developers’ responsibility for damage done to the people who invested their money in co-funded construction contracts, as well as provide for enhancing the responsibility of top regional officials for the protection of the rights of such people.
