The Agreement was signed in Moscow on December 9, 2010 and is aimed at creating a legal framework and common rules for government support of agriculture within the Common Economic Space between the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.
The objectives of the Agreement are to promote conditions for fair competition in the Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation’s agricultural markets, to broaden mutual trade, and to ensure the sustainable development of agriculture through the creation of transparent and unified rules on government support.
