The Protocol was signed in Moscow on February 8, 2021.
The Protocol sets out the procedure for paying value-added tax on goods imported from the territory of a member state of the Eurasian Economic Union to the territory of a free (special) economic zone, whose borders fully or partially coincide with sections of the customs border of the Union and which operates in the Russian Federation as of July 1, 2016.
