The Federal Law aims to improve the mechanism of countering the legalisation (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism.
The Federal Law extends the sphere of application of Federal Law On Countering the Legalisation (Laundering) of Proceeds from Crime and the Financing of Terrorism. Specifically, it will cover the activities of digital currency miners and mining pool organisers.
The Federal Law also specifies the grounds for submitting information to the Federal Service for Financial Monitoring (Rosfinmonitoring) at its request and information meant to advise Rosfinmonitoring on measures to freeze (block) monetary funds or other property and to cancel these measures.
