Working visit to Finland
Vladimir Putin and Finnish President Sauli Niinisto held talks as part of the Russian President’s visit to Finland. Following the talks, the two presidents gave a joint news conference. Vladimir Putin and Sauli Niinisto also attended a performance of the opera Iolanta presented by the Bolshoi Theatre as part of the annual Savonlinna Opera Festival.
The visit marked the 100th anniversary of Finland’s independence as a state.
