The President noted, in particular, in his message that Russia and Tajikistan pursue an active political dialogue, are expanding their cooperation in trade and the economy, science and technology, the humanitarian sphere and other fields, and assessed highly the two countries’ partnership and work together within the CIS, CSTO, Eurasian Economic Community, and Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
Mr Putin said he is confident that Russia and Tajikistan will continue to strengthen their strategic partnership and alliance in the interests of both peoples and of ensuring stability, security and prosperity in Central Asia.
