The message reads, in part:
“Turkmenistan has achieved considerable success in its social and economic development over these last years and strengthened its position and influence on the international stage.
The multi-faceted relations between our countries are becoming ever more substantial. The Agreement on Friendship and Cooperation and the principles of mutual respect, good neighbourliness, and expanding ties in a broad range of areas set forth therein serve as the foundation for our ties’ continued dynamic development.
It is important to continue our joint efforts to realise the significant potential of our mutually advantageous cooperation in trade, economy, culture, humanitarian sphere, and in regional and international affairs, including in the context of Turkmenistan’s presidency of the CIS.
I believe that continued strengthening of our diverse ties is fully in the interests of our peoples and will contribute to peace and stability in Central Asia.”
