The heads of state and government discussed a range of issues concerning economic growth, employment, facilitating green development, raising energy security and energy efficiency, and harmonising national state economic regulation systems.
The Leaders' Meeting ended with the adoption of the declaration, Towards a Seamless Regional Economy.
The leaders also met with the members of the APEC Business Advisory Council, a consultative body bringing together three big business representatives from each of the APEC participating economies. The council’s main task is to draft recommendations for the APEC forum leaders.
Following the Leaders' Meeting, Mr Medvedev briefed Russian journalists on the main results of his meetings.
