The Agreement was signed with the aim of developing the international legal framework for Russian-South Ossetian cooperation on providing mutual legal assistance in criminal cases.
In accordance with the Agreement, the parties commit, on a mutual basis and in observance of the conditions indicated within, to provide one another with legal assistance in investigations, judicial proceedings or other procedural actions related to criminal cases.
