The meeting was attended by Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Acting Arkhangelsk Region Governor Alexander Tsibulsky, Voronezh Region Governor Alexander Gusev, Chelyabinsk Region Governor Alexei Teksler, Deputy Secretary of the Civic Chamber Alexander Galushka, as well as representatives of specialised federal and regional executive agencies and the expert community.
Tula Region Governor Alexei Dyumin, Head of the State Council Working Group on Industry, updated participants on the current situation with the industry during the pandemic. Those taking part in the meeting noted that companies had generally managed to cope with their tasks.
Denis Manturov spoke about support measures and those to restore the industry.
Members of the Working Group reviewed proposals to expand industrial production, drafted in direct cooperation with legal entities of the Russian regions. They also discussed matters of facilitating exports of Russian goods and entering new markets.
