At Minsk Arena, Vladimir Putin met with President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach and attended artistic gymnastics competitions.

At Alexander Lukashenko’s residence, Vladimir Putin and the Belarus President held an informal meeting. Later they were joined by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The final item on the agenda of Vladimir Putin’s visit to Minsk was his participation in the closing ceremony of the 2nd European Games held at the Dinamo National Olympic Stadium. The Russian national team took first place in the unofficial medal count with 109 medals, including 44 gold, 23 silver and 42 bronze medals.
