The World Congress of Perinatal Medicine is taking place in Russia for the first time, on June 19–23, in Moscow. Around 2,500 delegates are attending the event, including around 1,000 specialists from 59 different countries.
The congress’ main themes are the modern demographic situation and its future development, improving women’s and children’s health by raising the quality of perinatal medical assistance throughout the world, and raising professional education standards.
