The discussion will focus on the current state and prospects for the development of Russian-Venezuelan cooperation in the political, trade and economic, financial, scientific and technological, as well as humanitarian and cultural areas. Additionally, the leaders will exchange views on pressing matters on the international and regional agendas.
Following the talks, the presidents will sign an interstate Treaty on Strategic Partnership and Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Nicolas Maduro will also take part in celebrations to be held in Moscow to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
