The President took part in the march organised by the Immortal Regiment national public civil-patriotic movement. The President, joining other participants of the event, walked on Red Square holding a portrait of his father.

The Immortal Regiment event, whose participants march with portraits of their relatives – war veterans, is being held for the seventh time. This year, around a million people are taking part in the event in Moscow.
