Trip to Tatarstan
Vladimir Putin visited an engine factory and a plant producing lorry cabin frames. He also spoke to the staff as he toured the manufacturing facilities of the KAMAZ automobile plant.
Later, the President spoke at a special meeting to mark the 50th anniversary of KAMAZ.
The President also held a working meeting with KAMAZ Director General Sergei Kogogin and Rostec State Corporation CEO Sergei Chemezov where they discussed the factory’s advanced developments and the current state of the industry.
Finishing his trip to Tatarstan, Vladimir Putin discussed the socioeconomic state of the region with the Republic’s Head, Rustam Minnikhanov.
