The President began the meeting by thanking the head of the republic for helping to organise the Games of the Future, noting that the tournament is an event of international importance that transcends regional and national borders.

Rustam Minnikhanov began his report with an overview of special military operation-related activities, including support for military units, assistance to families of the fallen, attention to military families, work in sponsored territories in the new regions, and humanitarian aid convoys. Work on defence orders is underway as well.

According to Minnikhanov, 11 people in Tatarstan have been awarded the title Hero of Russia, and 236 people have been awarded the Order of Courage.

The sociopolitical and socioeconomic situation is stable. Most importantly, there is harmony between people of different religions and faiths.

Regarding the economy, Rustam Minnikhanov reported that gross regional product amounted to 4.103 trillion rubles. The industrial production index was at 103.6 percent, and industrial output amounted to 4.7 trillion rubles. Despite the drought, 3.6 million tonnes of grain were harvested. Investment in fixed capital amounted to 1.08 trillion rubles. The economy is growing, and the share of industrial output is on the rise. Oil production-related foreign trade amounted to $14 billion. The republic produces over 35 million tonnes of oil, but output is limited by OPEC cuts. Last year, 23.7 million tonnes of oil were refined with a depth of conversion of over 99 percent. The petrochemical industry holds much promise, with SIBUR about to launch a major Ethylene 600 complex in 2025. A mineral fertiliser plant produces over a million tonnes of mineral fertiliser, with plans to increase the output to almost 3 million tonnes by 2028.

The President noted that the republic’s manufacturing sector and non-raw material exports have increased, and KAMAZ is making new vehicles. Rustam Minnikhanov said that Ford automaker had left, but the Sollers company has identified a model lineup, and 30,000 vehicles will be produced this year, adding that Aurus vehicles are being produced in the special economic zone. Work is underway on self-driving and hydrogen-powered vehicles. The aviation plant and the Kazan helicopter plant are undergoing a major overhaul. Major foreign projects include the Chinese company Haier which has built six plants and engages in deep localisation. The republic is home to many defence companies, 20 of which are part of the Rostec system; 99.2 percent of households are connected to the gas distribution grid.

Among other achievements, Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned an increase in life expectancy to 75.3 years, an extensive housing construction programme, and an increase in tourism to over 4 million tourists per year.

Answering a question from the President, the head of the republic spoke about the Alabuga Polytech education centre to train highly skilled workers with 2,500 students enrolled now, and 10,000 students to be enrolled in 18 months. The plan is to take the number of students to 25,000. The centre trains specialists in robotics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, and biological treatment plants, i.e., professions that are in high demand.

Road construction and the production of hydrofoil vessels, which enjoy demand throughout the country, were discussed as well.
