Under these federal laws, the bodies of the judiciary in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions shall be formed by September 1, 2024.
In accordance with the above federal laws, the Presidium of the Council of Judges of the Russian Federation approves the procedures for electing delegates to the first conferences of judges in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and also the norms of their representation in relevant courts and the manner in which these conferences shall be convened and held.
The federal laws also stipulate that the High Qualification Board of Judges of the Russian Federation and the High Examination Commission in charge of administering the qualifications examination for judges shall carry out the functions of these bodies until the procedures to establish bodies of the judiciary in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions are completed.
