Instructions were given to the Government of the Russian Federation on ensuring consistently high-quality educational programmes, regardless of the type of general education institution; attracting young specialists and post-graduate students to teach core subjects corresponding to their areas of expertise at schools; equipping schools with educational and laboratory equipment required to meet government standards for core school education, as well as for student design and technical creativity.
The government and the executive authorities of Russia’s federal constituent entities were instructed to ensure improvement in teachers training, create a general education manager talent pool, and to modernise the system of teacher education in 2012–2013.
