Visit to Israel
In Israeli Netanya, Vladimir Putin and Israeli President Shimon Peres took part in a ceremony of unveiling a monument to the Red Army’s victory over Nazi Germany.
After that, the Russian leader had talks with Prime Minister of Israel Binyamin Netanyahu and President of Israel Shimon Peres in Jerusalem.
Later, a state reception was held on behalf of President of Israel Shimon Peres in honour of President of Russia Vladimir Putin at the President of Israel’s residence.
Vladimir Putin also visited the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.
