The Agreement was signed in Moscow on February 17, 2012.
The goals of the Agreement are to improve the regulation of labour migration flows and establish parity in their volume, direction and composition within the interest of Russia and Mongolia’s socioeconomic development, as well as assuring favourable conditions for the migration of labourers over the two nations’ territories.
The agreement stipulates establishing a reciprocal, favourable regime for the entry, exit and movement of workers across the receiving state’s territory.
The agreement creates an effective system for regulating migration flows on Russia and Mongolia’s territories, providing new momentum for the development of Russian-Mongolian relations.
