In addition to members of the Council for Countering Corruption Presidium, participants in the meeting included representatives from the judiciary community, Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights Boris Titov, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Strashko, and Managing Director of the Corporate Affairs and Legal Support Directorate for the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Varvarin.
Deputy Labour and Social Protection Minister Tatiana Blinova presented information about organisational and methodical support for preventing corruption in the private sector.
Presidential Plenipotentiary to the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich reported on the results of work to counter corruption in government agencies in the regions within his district.
Head of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Directorate Oleg Plokhoy reported on organisation of work for judges and court personnel to uphold anti-corruption standards and measures to increase the efficacy of this work.
The Council presidium made decisions on all these issues and issued corresponding recommendations.
