The federal law “On Amendments to Article 1 of the Federal Law ‘On Days of Military Glory (Victory Days) of Russia’” stipulates that November 7 shall be commemorated as the day of the November 7, 1941 military parade in Red Square, Moscow.
Vladimir Putin also signed a federal law on amendments to Article 112 of the Labour Code, which stipulates additional non-working days to the New Year holiday – January 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (instead of the former January 1 and 2). The law cancels the non-working days of December 12 (Constitution Day) and November 7 (1917 October Revolution Day, Day of Accord and Conciliation).
The law also stipulates remuneration for those who do piece work on non-working days.
