The message reads, in particular:
“Undoubtedly, this event has an important place among the significant dates. The special resolution of the UN General Assembly adopted in November 2005 and coauthored by Russia acts as proof of the international community’s recognition.
Russia and Mongolia are connected by centuries of cooperation between good neighbours. These truly partnership relations have passed the test of time and continue to develop successfully.
We highly value the spirit of the Mongolian leadership and, Mr President, your personal aspirations to strengthen cooperation with the Russian Federation in all aspects.
We believe that the priorities of our joint work include expanding bilateral trade and economic ties, implementing major investment projects, inter-regional cooperation cooperation along our borders, and also enhancing exchanges in cultural and educational spheres. I am convinced that your planned visit to Russia will help the whole range of Russian-Mongolian relations arrive at a new level.“
The Russian President’s message was transmitted by Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov during his official visit to Mongolia.
