Vladimir Putin reaffirmed his intention to visit the Republic of Korea. The President opened the meeting by pointing out that Russia and the Republic of Korea were establishing lasting good relations.
Mr Putin sent his greetings to the South Korean President and expressed support for the recent meeting between the leaders of the two Korean states in Pyongyang. He also expressed his readiness to develop bilateral relations in all areas, including the economic and cultural spheres.
