Mr Putin and Mr Ivanov discussed measures to help the families of those who died in the crash of an Il-18 on October 26 in Adzharia and to launch an investigation into the crash.
The President instructed those present to establish a special committee to investigate the reasons behind the crash. Mr Ivanov was appointed head of the committee.
