First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov reported on an upcoming final meeting of the Russian Space Agency, Roskosmos’ collegium, which will look particularly closely at the GLONASS project and also at establishing a new Russian space launch centre in the Far East region.
Mr Ivanov also reported on a planned visit together with Economic Development and Trade Minister Elvira Nabiullina to Lipetsk to take part in the opening of the first section of an industrial production zone.
First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev reported on his visit to Chelyabinsk, where he took part in discussions on the region’s environmental problems and proposals for changes to the federal environmental agencies’ monitoring and control procedures.
