The message reads, in part:
“Over the past quarter of a century, the Eurasian countries have come a long way, from the idea of an association of equal states that was proposed by the first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev at the Moscow University to a successfully operating economic union.
The project of Eurasian integration has fully proved its effectiveness. EAEU members are expanding their links in trade and the economy, investment, cultural and humanitarian affairs. Cross-border and interregional cooperation is developing fast. We are implementing large-scale joint projects in numerous areas. We are building coordination with other multilateral frameworks on the continent.
Of course, it is important that the integration processes within the EAEU provide additional opportunities for strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Kazakhstan for the benefit of our fraternal peoples.
I am certain you will have meaningful and substantial discussions and the proposals and initiatives produced by the conference will contribute to the strengthening of the Eurasian Economic Union.”
