The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to take measures directed at monitoring the implementation of a set of measures designed to mitigate the risks of the energy shortages in European countries having a negative impact on the Russian Federation, including by destabilising its nitrogen fertiliser, iron-and-steel, and food markets. The Government is also instructed to take measures to create conditions ensuring sufficient supplies for the domestic market and maintaining the use of production capacities within the levels of previous years.
In addition, the heads of the supreme executive agencies in the Russian Federation regions were advised to take personal control over the timely introduction of and compliance with restrictive measures designed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and an accelerated pace of vaccination against it.
