The meeting was attended by Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Transport and Transport Infrastructure Development Yevgeny Moskvichev, Head of the Republic of Buryatia, Chairman of the State Council Commission on Transport Alexei Tsydenov, Astrakhan Region Governor Igor Babushkin, heads of federal and regional executive bodies, as well as representatives of business community, development institutions and the expert community.
An exchange of views took place on the problems of supplying consumer goods in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation based on regional peculiarities, as well as urgent measures to form interregional and intraregional supply chains amid the new economic circumstances in the short and medium term.
During the meeting, proposals were developed to minimise economic and supply chain risks. Ways were identified for launching new and more effective mechanisms to support regional enterprises, as well as ensuring the development of new routes and supply chains.
Members of the State Duma Committee on Transport and Transport Infrastructure Development expressed their willingness to get involved in implementing the initiatives advanced at the legislative level.
