The message reads, in part:
“This year, our countries are marking the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 25th anniversary of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance. It is important that since then Russia and Armenia have accumulated substantial experience of constructive cooperation in the most diverse spheres, and our ties have been elevated to a high allied level.
Traditionally, interregional cooperation has been a significant component of Russian-Armenian relations. Entities of the Russian Federation and Armenia’s regions are interacting actively in the economic, social, scientific, humanitarian, cultural and other spheres, and are successfully implementing major joint projects and initiatives.
As always, your forum has a rather packed agenda. Representatives of government agencies, business, academic and expert communities, as well as public organisations, will exchange opinions on topical fundamental issues and chart new cooperation programmes, including those in trade, investment, education, tourism and digital technologies.
I am confident that your ideas and proposals will have practical significance, and that they will help further strengthen Russian-Armenian partnership and advance mutually beneficial integration processes in the Eurasian region.”
