The message reads, in part:
“Over the past years, your union has rallied around its noble goals tens of thousands of courageous, stout-hearted people – veterans of airborne troops, marine infantry, members of special forces units from many regions.
It is important that you invariably demonstrate a responsible civic position, actively participate in the life of the country, implementation of much-needed charitable, social and educational projects, care for your brothers in arms and their families. Your efforts aimed at instilling patriotic values in the younger generations, preparing young people for service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and admission to higher educational institutions of the Defence Ministry deserves the utmost respect.
Today you continue to serve. Hundreds of volunteers answered the call of the Russian Paratroopers Union to stand up to defend Russia, Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
Such serious, diverse activity has helped you gain great public respect and recognition.”
