The protocol was signed in Moscow on July 28, 2025.
The protocol is aimed at eliminating gaps in the legal regulation of some areas defined by the treaty, exposed in the course of law enforcement practice, adjusting some provisions of the treaty, as well as delegating new functions and powers to the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Council of Heads of Energy Authorities of the EAEU member states.
