The Agreement was signed in St Petersburg on May 21, 2010, as part of the steps required for forming the legal base for the Customs Union within the EurAsEC framework.
The Agreement aims to ensure coordinated policy on calculation and payment of customs duties throughout the Customs Union’s common customs territory.
