The meeting summed up the results of the council’s work in 2015.
It was noted that in 2016, the experts will continue to work in the following key areas:
legislative regulation in the field of citizenship and migration, as well as examining practices of applying legislation on testing foreign citizens in Russian language, history, and fundamentals of Russian legislation;
participation in the work to establish a permanent Russian-French-German expert dialogue on matters of citizenship, migration and related linguo-civilisational issues;
promotion of work by the Russian Language – the Language for International Communication interdepartmental commission of the Presidential Council for Russian Language.
Participants in the meeting included representatives from federal executive and legislative bodies, the Russian Authors’ Society, heads of Russia’s higher education institutions, and leading lawyers in the field of state building, constitutional law and civil law.
