In his opening remarks, Mr Magomedov noted that the Academy is developing as a leading expert, research and education centre, whose activities are addressing the priority tasks of modern education.
“Our common goal is to make the Russian Academy of Education a platform for the most important scientific projects and new areas of research and to move forward successfully and effectively in the priority areas of education,” Mr Magomedov stressed.
Discussing the implementation of the Academy’s 2019 development programme, the meeting participants agreed that it was successful. President of the Russian Academy of Education Yury Zinchenko thanked the Board members for their active support and said that all indicators assessing the effectiveness of this year’s programme implementation were met.
In addition, a presentation was made for the Board members on the activities of the cluster of interdisciplinary and convergent research in the field of education, created at the Russian Academy of Education, as well as the results of the Growing with Russia federal research project.
An award ceremony for winners of the 2019 contest for young scientists was held as part of the meeting, with the Academy’s medals for achievements in science along with certificates for the RAE Board of Trustees’ special prize being presented to the winners.
Following the meeting, the participants identified key areas of work for 2020 and adopted corresponding decisions.
