The Council Presidium examined the state of progress in implementing the 2010–2011 National Anti-Corruption Plan and also discussed planning issues related to implementing the National Anti-Corruption Strategy over the upcoming period.
The meeting participants noted the need to get independent experts more broadly and effectively involved in carrying out expert evaluation of anti-corruption draft laws and regulations.
The Council Presidium members discussed the creation of a CIS Interstate Anti-Corruption Council and called on the heads of the relevant federal state bodies to step up this work.
